There she taught everything from English, Literature, and World History to Politics and Economics in high school, and she also taught 4th grade math, 2nd grade science and 1st grade reading comprehension! Claudia’s next position was College Counselor at The Columbus School, and she earned her College Counseling certificate from UC San Diego in 2009. She has counseled extensively with students and their families as they navigate university admission.
She has worked at the Marymount School as the college counselor and helped build the International Counseling Department for the past five years. Claudia served on the CIS Latin America and Caribbean Committees, the IACAC Governance and Nominating Committee, and is currently part of the CIS Forum planning committee. She is presently a member of the National Admissions Advisory Board at High Point University in North Carolina, and a member of the Advisory Board at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY.
Tata, as she is known, is happy to be part of the JCT4Education family. She looks forward to working with our students and families as they make their way through the magical world of higher education.
