Anna Barr has been working in higher education for over 18 years, building relationships with college counselors from around the world. She has helped both domestic and international students successfully navigate the application process and understands the challenges associated with finding the right school.

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Anna Barr moved to South Florida in 2000 to complete her high school degree. At American Heritage she participated in the ESOL program where she learned and improved her English skills. She studied American Government and American History to familiarize herself with the U.S. curriculum. She applied to universities as an international student, and has experienced the process firsthand. After taking all examinations and going through the application process, Anna graduated from Lynn University summa cum laude, with a B.S. degree in International Business as well as an MBA in Finance.

Upon graduation, Anna began working in the Office of Admission at Lynn University as an international admission counselor. Her primary responsibilities were to assist International students and families with their application, visa, and enrollment processes. Her responsibilities also included reading and reviewing applications from all over the world while traveling to different countries to meet with prospective students and families. She has worked all over Asia, the Caribbean, Central and South America, helping prospective students find the right college fit.

After working as the Associate Director of International Admission at Lynn, Anna is excited to join the JCT4Education team to help students through their application and college search. Every student is unique and it is important to find that right college match to be academically challenged, and engaged on campus.
