Itinerary
From Madrid - Sarria
Once we arrive in Sarria by train, we’ll take some time to explore the charming town centre together. Here, we’ll discover historic churches, chapels, monasteries, and old pilgrim hospitals, places that immediately connect us with the heart of the Camino de Santiago.
We’ll stroll down Rua Maior, the town’s main street, with its picturesque atmosphere, and enjoy a relaxing coffee break in the afternoon.
Our itinerary also includes visits to the Church of Santa Marina, where we’ll admire the evocative pilgrim mural, the Castle and Fortress of Sarria, and the peaceful La Magdalena Monastery.
In the evening, we’ll come together for a delicious dinner, enjoying the local flavors and reflecting on our first day on the Camino.
Overnight: Sarria
From Sarria - Portomarín
On our first day of walking, we’ll enjoy a peaceful route that winds through charming villages and small hamlets, shaded by beautiful oak trees and surrounded by the Galician countryside. Along the way, we’ll spot traditional Galician barns, known as hórreos, that add to the rural charm of the landscape. We’ll end our walk in the lovely riverside town of Portomarín, where we’ll relax and share a well-deserved dinner together after our first full day on the Camino.

From Portomarín - Palas de Rei
We’ll begin our morning crossing the River Miño and leaving behind the charming town of Portomarín. The path gradually ascends toward the Serra de Ligonde, leading us through peaceful countryside and lovely villages such as Gonzar and Ventas de Narón.
Along the way, we’ll stop to admire the Romanesque beauty of Santa María de Castromaior and the Church of Eirexe, known for its sculpture of the Pilgrim of Santiago.
We’ll end our journey in Palas de Rei, where a delicious group dinner awaits us.

From Palas de Rei - Melide
Today we’ll walk through rolling hills and green forests, passing small villages that give a true sense of rural Galicia. Along the route, we’ll see traditional hórreos and charming local landmarks that bring the Camino’s history to life.
We’ll stop at the Church of San Tirso in Palas de Rei and take a break to enjoy the scenery and share stories with our fellow travelers.
Our destination is Melide, where we’ll relax and enjoy another delicious dinner together.

From Melide - Arzúa
Today’s route is gentle and full of sights that capture the spirit of the Camino.
Along the way, we’ll stop at local landmarks, enjoy the scenery, and share the experience with our fellow travelers. For those who prefer a shorter walk, it’s possible to pause in one of the villages before reaching our destination.
We’ll arrive in Arzúa, a welcoming town where we’ll relax and enjoy a delicious dinner together, celebrating another day on the Camino.

From Arzúa - O Pedrouzo
Today we’ll set off from Arzúa, feeling the excitement build as we get closer to Santiago. Our walk takes us through beautiful forests, peaceful countryside, and charming villages, with plenty of moments to enjoy the scenery and share laughs with the group.
We’ll pause along the way to rest, take photos, and soak in the spirit of the Camino. Every step brings us closer to our long-awaited arrival in Santiago!
We’ll reach Pedrouzo, where we’ll relax, celebrate, and enjoy a delicious group dinner, ready to gather our energy for the final stretch tomorrow.

Overnight: Pedrouzo
From O Pedrouzo - Santiago de Compostela
Today is the moment we’ve been walking toward the final stretch of our Camino! We’ll leave Pedrouzo with excitement in our hearts, walking through the gentle Galician countryside as we approach the magnificent city of Santiago.
Along the way, we’ll enjoy the scenery, share stories, and soak in the incredible feeling of anticipation. Every step brings us closer to the cathedral and the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing the Camino.
We’ll arrive in Santiago de Compostela, where the iconic cathedral awaits us. Here, we’ll celebrate our journey together, reflect on our experiences, and enjoy a well-deserved festive dinner, marking the unforgettable end of our Camino adventure.

Overnight: Santiago de Compostela
General information you need to know:
- The Camino is for everyone, at any age or ability. Walk at your own pace, it’s not a race, just enjoy the journey. If you need a ride along the way, don’t worry, we’ll help coordinate it so you can keep going.
- Another thing to keep in mind is your luggage. We offer a service, included in your trip, that transports your bags to the next stage. This means you can leave your luggage in the lobby, it will be picked up, and by the time you reach your next stop, your bags will be waiting for you.
- Galicia is known for its delicious food and warm, welcoming people! Breakfast is included, and we’ll also enjoy dinner when we arrive at our destination. Don’t worry if you get hungry during the day, you’ll stop at charming spots to rest, eat, or grab a drink (and trust us, the prices are really good!).

All accommodations throughout the Camino include double-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms and thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay. If you’re traveling alone, you’ll share a room with another member of our group. Prefer your own room? Reach out to us—we’re happy to explore single-room options when available. - The good or maybe the bad news is that you’ll have phone signal throughout the Camino! We’ll have a WhatsApp group to stay in constant communication and share updates, plus must-see stops you won’t want to miss.
- Train tickets are included in your trip .The train from Madrid to Sarria takes approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes, while the train from Santiago de Compostela to Madrid takes around 3 to 3.5 hours.
