Director of Educational Engagement

Daniela Escobar — or Dani, as she’s known by friends and colleagues — is originally from Medellín, Colombia, but her passion for education has taken her all over the world. Her journey began with a life-changing student exchange in New Zealand, where she discovered the transformative power of international education. That experience sparked a lifelong desire to explore the world through learning.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors from Hult International Business School in London, where she double-concentrated in Management and Social Entrepreneurship. After graduating, her international path continued with a move to Shanghai, China, where she worked for Cathay Pacific before relocating to Dubai.

While in Dubai, Dani entered the field of international education and immediately knew she had found her true calling. At SchoolApply, she helped students connect with global study opportunities and realized the impact she wanted to have in this industry for life. She later pursued her MBA at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain — a program known for its global focus and innovative approach to education.

Most recently, Dani worked as the Latin America Field Representative for Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in Vancouver, Canada, supporting students and counselors across the region and building strong partnerships throughout Latin America.

Now back in her hometown of Medellín, Dani is thrilled to join the JCT4Education team, where she continues her mission to connect students with life-changing educational opportunities around the world.
