Stalin is a bilingual international consultant with over 15 years of expertise in art education. Fluent in Spanish and English, he specializes in design pedagogy, coaching, and international portfolio design consultancy. Currently, Stalin is the High School AP®️ Studio Art teacher at Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia, where he passionately supports students’ artistic development and self-discovery.
Stalin’s portfolio design consultancy focuses on guiding international and U.S. students who aspire to pursue creative fields in higher education by assisting them in constructing compelling visual art portfolios. Through his mentorship programs, students gain valuable opportunities to explore, practice, and refine their creative processes. Stalin covers various aspects, including research, conceptual development, composition, and skill enhancement, empowering students to showcase their creative abilities and strengthen their applications effectively.
To foster continuous growth, Stalin completed specialized studies in design pedagogy at the esteemed National University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, both renowned institutions in Bogotá, Colombia. He also possesses a certification as an Advanced Placement, AP®️ Studio Art Teacher in the United States, enabling him to connect with art and design educators worldwide through a robust professional learning network.
Moreover, Stalin has been an active consultant for the CollegeBoard, contributing to eight summer training institutes over the past 13 years. Recently, he obtained an Educator Certificate endorsed in Visual Arts (K-12) from the Colorado State Board of Education, further enhancing his expertise and commitment to excellence in education.
